On September 13, 2016, 40 East Bay parents and their toddlers converged at Oakland Kindergym, located on the bottom floor of Temple Beth Abraham.
Dawn Margolin, who has been running Kindergym for more than 30 years opened her doors for {510} Families readers at a special price made possible by a sponsorship from Close 5.
Kindergym is a well-lit indoor playspace with colorful playthings for children to climb on and explore.
Sessions are mostly free play with a short circle time and snack at the end. You’ll find many Kindergym hours each week on the 510Families.com calendar.
At our Tot’s Day Out, we raffled off some fun prizes and sent guests home with goody bags.
Local blogger and toddler mom, Sally Mason, captured all the photos in this post. You can follow Sally’s life in Berkeley with three girls at LittleHiccups.net.

Loved this event with 510families!! I am so happy to invite ALL families with Under 3s to join us in our last 3 weeks of classes before our summer break starting June 2. We’ll be back August 22-25 for our regular W/Th/Fr morning classes. See you soon! Dawn
