Immersive nature-based education in Albany

We’re excited to have One Square Smile School as a sponsor.

For East Bay families with children two-years nine months to five-years-old, One Square Smile is a new morning preschool program that offers nature-based, immersive education in Albany’s beautiful parks (in a location convenient to I 80).

Their home base is in Ocean View Park where they’ll have have access to a community garden, a beautiful grove of redwood trees, a large grassy area, a traditional playground, and a lovely classroom in the event of unsafe weather.

Changing seasons and children’s evolving interests mean every day is a bit different; and every twelve-week session offers new opportunities for learning through play. Young children learn to appreciate the natural world through mindful outdoor experiences driven by their own curiosity. Join the other little ones as they explore every inch of Albany’s one square mile including Ocean View Park, Albany Hill, and Albany Bulb.
