On June 1, we brought together a gaggle of toddlers and their grown-ups at Kids Gym Berkeley for an epic playdate. Our title sponsor, Stanford Children’s Health, made a reduced admission price possible, and we thank them for partnering with us to produce such a fun event.

Thanks to Arlene Easterwood, Bay Area family photographer, for shooting this event for us. All photos in this blog post were shot by Arlene.

Kids played throughout the many rooms that make up Kids Gym Berkeley, enjoying the trampoline, climbing wall, swings, and many toys.

We had a few special guests as well.

Grampa Clyde, a local music circle leader, commanded the attention of the crowd and inspired them to dance.

Dr. Katya Gerwein, who works at Stanford’s Berkeley office, joined us and shared information about that pediatric practice.

Guests enjoyed coffee, donuts, fruit, and GoGo squeeZ yogurt pouches, all included with their admission to this special event. And everyone went home with a goody bag!

We hope everyone had an epic time — and that the kids crashed out peacefully later that afternoon.

We are so grateful to our sponsors who make it all possible:

Since 1847, they have helped people do more in life by creating solutions that deliver the complete value of life insurance across life’s stages, complemented by annuities and investment products.

Toy-Cycle.org is an online resource that connects families in local groups so they can give and get free used toys and games. The community is organized into small local groups. There is no shipping involved. Each group is affiliated with surrounding groups so you can connect with more families farther away if you choose.

Kids Gym Berkeley is 10,000 square feet of inclusive fun for all kids age 0 to 12. It is the venue for our event and many other memorable birthday parties, playdates, camps and good times. See the all-inclusive fun at Kids Gym Berkeley.
