Parent Hacks book launch at The Rec Room Cafe

Join us: Toddler’s playdate with Parent Hacks at the Rec Room Cafe!

If you haven’t made time to explore the Rec Room Cafe and family spot near Ashby BART, our book launch party and toddler playdate is the perfect excuse. Save the date: Monday, April 4.

Rec Room Cafe

A $5 ticket will:

  • get you admission to this magical playspace
  • secure your goody bag
  • brew a warm beverage with your name on it
  • entertain your little one
  • save you $5 off the sweet new book!

(Watch our brief video for a tour of Rec Room or read more about our visits to Rec Room)

The Rec Room is a terrific neighborhood cafe with small imagination zones, costumes, gross motor space, delicious snacks, craft projects, and perfect coffee.

We’re super excited to help launch the fantastic new book by Bay Area native, Asha Dornfest, Parent Hacks: 134 Genius Shortcuts for Life with Kids with a 510families-style morning coffee party for parents and children at the Rec Room Cafe. The book is stuffed with tips, shortcuts, and genius little tricks that will save you time and frustration.

Pop quiz: Name two great household items that can repair a broken diaper tab?*

So you should come and bring a friend. And your kids! Advance purchase price is $5 or you can pay the regular Rec Room admission price of $10 at the door.

{NOTE: When advanced sale tickets are sold out, you can still join us at the door for the regular admission price of $10 per child. You will be able to enjoy the play space, the reading, the crafts, but no goody bag. Also, books, snacks, and coffee will be available to purchase.}

Enjoy one of my many favorite images excerpted right from the Parent Hacks book (and wait to see what she does with laundry baskets and painters tape):
