We had a blast at our first {510} Families Road Trip to the Delta. We left the East Bay for sun and fun on the Sacramento River! We were happy to greet so many families with scooters, coolers, diaper bags, and swim suits for a day of activities.

Jellystone Park is located in Lodi, CA with different kinds of lodging from tents to deluxe cabins with full electricity and RV spots. Stay for the weekend or visit with a day pass to play at the resort.

Whitney made a multi-generational weekend out of it by inviting her two-year old niece to eighty-something grandma with all ages in between. They stayed in a combination of RVs and Deluxe Cabins (peek in her cabin below!). Meanwhile, I had my hands full with a spunky seven-year old and some friends. Cabins comfortably sleep eight people, but it helps if you’re all on the same sleep schedules.

There’s something to do for everyone. Day passes to this fun spot are usually $29.00/person for guests 2 years and older. Daytime visitors can access the swimming pool, hot tub, mini golf, volleyball, basketball, jumping pillow, playground, Gaga Ball, and a scavenger hunt. Special seasonal activities are also available. Staying for the weekend means you can cram even more into your time.

Want to play on the Delta? Water sports rentals are available for a fee, such as paddle boards, kayak, motor boats, fishing boats, pontoon boats and linens are also available for rental.

The grounds are also great for little kids on scooters and bikes. My small crew maxed out after the swimming pool, mini golf, and s’mores. If you have energy, check out Lazer Tag, Gem Mining, or golf carts.

You can camp in your own tent or rent a cabin. If you’ve got an RV (or a friend with an RV), there’s space for that, too. The cabins come in many configurations. The ones we stayed in were Deluxe.
