Coming to the Solano County Fairgrounds this weekend, January 6 and 7, this indoor event — Jurassic Tour — invites families to get up close to over 40 life-like dinosaurs, ranging from animatronic models to realistic scenes from the Jurassic period.
Inflatables, fossil digs, face-painting, and more, will fill the building. We have not attended this event ourselves, however Yelp reviews are less than favorable. The scope of the event does not sound big enough to entertain adults, so it is best saved for young kids who truly love dinosaurs, especially because general admission is $21/adult; $26/child (1-12), and parking at the fairground is usually costly.
Admission includes access to the exhibit plus unlimited access to the Fossil Dig, bounce castles area, basketball and darts games, Dinosaur Band, and Dino Theatre.
Dinosaur & ATV rides will be $5 each per ride, Balloon Pop is $5/ride, Virtual reality ride is $5/ride, Bungee Pull is $5/ride.
All tickets include a free mobile game: Dino Soar!, which can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play Store. Tickets are valid for all-day access; in and outs are welcome.
* (There is additional cost for face painting.)
Babies under the age of 1 get in free.
