Aquatic Living, our sponsor, is a family-friendly building with great amenities, new construction and AC, close to wonderful Berkeley schools. They invited us along on a little home tour today.
Come with me inside The Aquatic apartments
These modern apartment buildings, located on Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Streets in Berkeley, are gorgeous inside and out. The Aquatic has lovely brand new one- and two-bedroom units now leasing. Close to lots of parks, great schools, commute options, and the shops and restaurants of Fourth Street, this complex has all the necessary bells and whistles for family life: in-unit washer & dryer, heat & AC, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, oven microwave, island kitchens, spacious closets, and common area play spaces.
Take a look at this 90-second video for a more immersive tour of the Aquatic Living space.
The Aquatic building opened in late 2015 with a single building and has added two other buildings all next to each other joined by a courtyard with seating, games, and turf grass that never turns brown or muddy. The owners love the West Berkeley community. Dr. Mattu’s University Veterinary Hospital is right downstairs; The Aquatic’s many furry residents love seeing him around. Aquatic Living is leasing brand new units this winter. Stop by for a visit if you are interested in a great price on a brand new, never lived-in home.
The first thing a family will notice about The Aquatic is the loving attention to detail. Being family-owned means they are in it for the long haul and care about community families. The managers live right on site and understand the challenges of finding a wonderful place to live. Need to find a cup of sugar or borrow a Sharpie? The in-building Slack channel will help you meet your neighbors. It’s a very sweet place to call home.

What the residents say about The Aquatic apartments
“…Everything is well planned and executed. The location is just unbeatable for young couples and families with young children. Marina is 10 mins away by walking and there are tons of options for restaurants and coffee shops at the 4th. Even San Francisco is just 15 mins away when there is no traffic. Being just by the highway keeps you away from downtown traffic and gives you the option of going out in the city late nights. Oh, noise isolation of windows are awesome! The Aquatic put my standards very high.” ~ K.H. via Google Reviews
“My daughters and I LOVE living at The Aquatic. Our apartment is light and airy, with a view of Mount Tam. The design touches/materials and appliances are state-of-the-art. Really, there is so much to recommend. We are especially fond of the Aquatic’s gracious and pro-active managers, Amber and Rick. They set the warm tone and do everything they can to ensure the best possible experience. There are a lot of dogs in the building, which is was a huge selling point for us as we have two chihuahua mixes. There is a nice mix of privacy and community. Our favorite feature: the elegant rooftop lounges with views of the entire Bay Area! We used to live in Central Berkeley, but prefer our new location, which is just steps away from great shops and restaurants and offers easy freeway access. Sorbet-colored sunsets as seen from this part of town are extra delicious. What’s not to love?” ~ J.G. via Google Reviews
