For three evenings in a row, from Thursday, October 17 through Saturday, October 19, the Autumn Lights Festival will light up the Gardens at Lake Merritt with imaginative, illuminated sculptural works, and the public is invited to enjoy.
Tickets are on sale now, and kids under 6 are free. ($20 for adults; $7 for kids 6-17 when purchased in advance)
The event takes place from 6 pm to 11 pm each evening.
What to expect at the Autumn Lights Festival
The Gardens at Lake Merritt cover a seven-acre area that visitors will navigate by strolling paved paths. Children (and strollers) are welcome.
A food court will provide meals and beverages for sale. Guests can bring food inside, but not alcoholic beverages which will be for sale on site. Live music and performances (fire artist last year!) are wonderful.
