Based in Oakland, Help A Mother Out is a non-profit dedicated to getting diapers to families in need.
A mom who is struggling to provide the basic necessities for her children might be forced to make her diapers stretch longer than they should. When the cost of food and housing is expensive, diapers, not usually covered by WIC or handed out at shelters, are tough to come by. Donating diapers is an easy and effective way to relieve a bit of the burden of poverty on babies.
Here’s where you can donate diapers and wipes in the East Bay:
- Ruby’s Garden 5026 Telegraph Ave, OAKLAND, CA
- Pacifica Family Maternity Center 3101 Telegraph Ave, BERKELEY, CA
- Mr. Mopps 1405 MLK Jr. Way · BERKELEY, CA 94709
- Square Baby 2 Theater Square, ORINDA, CA
Look for Help A Mother Out donation barrel. Place your unopened packages there.
