NOTE: This date/event is in progress right now.
Please join the City of El Cerrito in celebrating United Against Hate Week by attending a free sidewalk chalk art event for all ages on Saturday, October 17 from 10 am to 1 pm.
You are invited to create art on this year’s theme of “Belonging in Action” — chalk provided. Local artist Naima Yi will be live-drawing a chalk centerpiece, with music and a read aloud storytime hour thanks to suggestions from the El Cerrito Public Library.
Find them on the Ohlone Greenway (Bart Path) adjacent to Centennial Park in El Cerrito, between Eureka Ave and Stockton Ave. This event is organized by the El Cerrito Human Relations Commission and the Arts & Culture Commission.
Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the activity organizer or venue as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
