Chinese New Year Parade

See the Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco. It’s one of the few remaining night illuminated Parades in North America and the biggest parade celebrating the Lunar New Year outside of Asia.

Parade begins at 5:15 pm, stepping off at Second and Market Streets. It is a free event for all to attend, but tickets must be purchased to sit in the bleacher sections. The parade will not be cancelled if it rains. The parade is approximately 1.3mi. in length and last about 2-1/2 hours from start to finish.
