Get ready for one of the biggest celebrations of the year! The City of Richmond is proud to host the 2025 Juneteenth Parade & Festival, honoring the end of slavery in the U.S. and celebrating Black freedom, resilience, and culture. This is more than an event—it’s a movement of unity, pride, and community.

What’s Happening:

  • Parade kicks off at 10 AM from Kennedy High School, ending at Nicholl Park
  • Live music all day, featuring The 3T’s Band on the main stage
  • 106.1 KMEL broadcasting live on-site
  • Performances from over 20 local artists
  • Youth Zone with games, activities, and entertainment for all ages
  • A vibrant marketplace of local food and retail vendors
  • Community resources, cultural exhibits, and more!

The parade starts at 10:00 AM at Kennedy High School and ends at Nicholl Park. The festival begins following the parade.
