Kick off the winter holiday season at Piedmont’s annual celebration of light.
Originally started in 1969 as the tree lighting ceremony, Lights Up evolves and expands this cherished tradition. Join them for:
- illumination of the 80-foot redwood tree
- menorah lighting
- latkes, cider, and hot cocoa
- seasonal activities for all ages coordinated by the Piedmont Recreation Department
- photos with Santa Claus inside Community Hall
Lights Up! is made possible by the support of the Piedmont Beautification Foundation (PBF). PBF obtains, installs, and removes the colorful LED lights that adorn the illuminated tree each year.
