Celebrate Purim with Temple Israel in Alameda for a joyful, all-ages day of storytelling, laughter, costumes, and connection. Whether you’re a family with young children, an empty-nester, or a community member looking for a fun and meaningful Purim celebration, this day is for you.
Community Kid-Led Purim Spiel 10:30–11:00 AM | Free & Open to All
Join us for a lively, age-appropriate Megillah reading designed to engage both children and adults. Expect interactive moments, groggers, laughter, and a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can follow the story, no prior experience needed.
Purim Carnival 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
The carnival includes several age-appropriate games, a prize booth, a jumpy house, dancing, and a clown to entertain. Costumes are encouraged. Costume Contest with prizes for all! There will be a dedicated preschool area for our youngest revelers and their families.
Admission
• $20 per person (includes lunch buffet & 2 drink tickets for adults- vegan and gluten-free options available)
• Children under 4 are free
• An adult must accompany children
While kids enjoy the carnival, adults can relax at a separate outdoor bar area and celebrate Purim with friends.
