The 2025 Social Justice Children’s Book Fair is shaping up to be the most exciting one yet. More books! More authors! Storytimes! Music! Activites! An Award!
The 2025 Social Justice Children’s Book Fair will feature over 50 children’s book authors, illustrators and literacy organizations for readers of all ages. In addition to author readings, there will be discussion panels, interactive activities, and musical performances arising out of an exciting partnership with the Bay Area Book Festival!
There will be musical performances by the Grammy and Emmy-winning multigenerational hip hop collective Alphabet Rockers, Juan Castille of Storytime Band, and Aya de León will lead a No Kings Line Dance.
The Social Justice Children’s Book Fair is committed to creating a space that is inclusive and inviting for families, teachers, and book enthusiasts of all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore inspiring narratives, interact with local authors, and enjoy music-filled performances and activities.
