Cheap Summer movies for only a buck? Yes! The Cinemark theater chain has a series of kid-friendly movies scheduled and offered at super low prices to attract the out-of-school crowd as part of Summer Movie Clubhouse.
The films are all rated G or PG. Tickets are $1 for both adults and children; $5 for a pass to the whole series. Add a few to your calendar for a half-day totally sorted!
The Century 16 at Hilltop Mall in Richmond & Hayward Century will show these movies for the remainder of the summer:
- June 12: Peter Rabbit (Richmond)
- June 19: Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch (Richmond)
- June 26: How to Train Your Dragon (Hayward & Richmond)
- July 3: Smallfoot (Hayward & Richmond)
- July 10: Kung Fu Panda (Hayward & Richmond)
- July 17: The LEGO Movie (Hayward & Richmond)
- July 24: Spongebob Squarepants Out of Water (Hayward & Richmond)
- July 31: Sherlock Gnomes (Hayward & Richmond)
- August 7: Hotel Transylvania 3 (Hayward & Richmond)
- August 14: Despicable Me 3 (Hayward & Richmond)
- August 21: Peter Rabbit (Hayward)
- August 28: Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch (Hayward)
Discounted shows are on Wednesdays, shows start at 10 AM. Walnut Creek 14 also carries this Summer Movie Clubhouse program with different flick picks.
