We were so happy to meet and see so many of you and your small sidekicks at Baby’s Day Out at Spirited Play Labs in Berkeley during our Baby’s Day Out on November 14. Sending more gratitude to our sponsors and guests. Details and discount codes below!
Spirited Play Labs is a spacious, bright, and inclusive play space featuring soft equipment and a welcoming atmosphere for all children. Founded as a membership-based all-abilities play space for children aged 18 months to 8 years, we enjoyed a special sneak preview of this space for babies and caregivers with a few baby-loving businesses and refreshments.

Laura Jaeger of Laura Jaeger Photography joined us to snap photos of parents and babies exploring, playing, and relaxing. All the photos in this post are her work.

At Spirited Play Labs, we enjoyed squishy mats, swings, and tools for climbing, bouncing, pushing, and rolling. Upstairs, there is extra space and comfy couches for adults who aren’t needed while their little ones do the hard work of playing. Co-working arrangements are available for Spirited Play Labs members.

Very special thank you to our fabulous sponsors, Spirited Play Labs, Kula, Libra Pelvic Physical Therapy, Montclair Pediatric Dentistry, Temple Sinai Family Center, MOTHR, and Laura Jaeger Photography, who make it all possible.
Spirited Play Labs Berkeley is a spacious, bright, inclusive play space with soft equipment and a welcoming attitude for all children. Founded as a membership-based all-abilities play space for children aged 18 months to 8 years, they are especially welcoming to children with neurodivergence and physical challenges.
Kula Circles are small, peer-support groups that include childcare. Moms meet monthly for connection, reflection, and real talk. Kula knows that the pressures of balancing work, childcare, and household responsibilities can leave little time for social interactions, exacerbating feelings of loneliness. Kula wants to rebuild the village because motherhood is joyful, and it can also be isolating.
Libra Pelvic Physical Therapy specializes in working with adults experiencing any pelvic floor condition, including prenatal/postpartum populations and active individuals. All sessions are an hour long and 1-on-1 with a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy. Get a free 15-minute consultation when you reach out to Jillian.
Temple Sinai Family Center was designed for families and children ages 0–2 and their caregivers. This welcoming space offers classes and opportunities to connect, build community, and celebrate Jewish life from the very beginning. Whether you’re a member, non-member, part of a blended-faith family, or just starting your Jewish journey—there’s a place for you here.
Families with children ages 0-2 can enjoy a free drop-in music class on Tuesdays at 9:15 and a Shabbat playgroup on Fridays at 11:30.
Montclair Pediatric Dentistry has two board-certified pediatric dentists who deliver expert, gentle care in a warm, community-centered, and sustainable environment. They are dedicated to personalized treatment and proudly support local families in creating healthy, happy smiles that last a lifetime. Dr. Rebecca was at our event meeting families and offering helpful advice. Their offices are lovely and conveniently located in Montclair Village at 6211 Medau Place.
MOTHR is a new apparel company that strives to celebrate the real, unfiltered experiences of moms today. MOTHR offers style, culture, and community for the modern mom. We saw a sneak preview of the first items. The brand officially launches this Friday, November 28. Shop small, y’all!
Laura Jaeger Photography offered mini-sessions at this event and is available by appointment for photo sessions with your family. Laura offers family, maternity, and newborn photography. She does a beautiful job capturing authentic and lovely images.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to our sponsors who make this type of event possible for all of us.
What sort of event should we have next? We’ve visited swimming pools, pottery painting studios and play spaces!
