Go-Karting in the Bay Area
It is quite an adrenaline rush to race around the track in an open-air go-kart. I make a special point to whoop and holler to embarrass my children to the max.
Where to ride the go-kart circuit
K1 Speed Go Kart Racing, Dublin
K1 Speed in Dublin is an indoor race track for go-karts. Additional Bay Area locations include South San Francisco and Santa Clara. As an extra precaution, disposable gloves are available and additional sanitation measures are in place.
Height Restrictions: Junior minimum height requirement is 48″. Adult minimum height requirement is 58″. No mixed Adult and Junior races.
Prices: One race is $27.95 or get a speed pass for two races, a tee shirt, and membership for $65.

Lil’ Indy Raceway at Scandia Family Center, Fairfield
Scandia Family Center in Fairfield is attractive because of the other attractions! In addition to driving small cars in a loop, mini golf, bumper boats, arcade, lazer tag, the vr arena, and batting cages are open.
Height Restrictions: Must be at least 58″ to drive solo. Guests 40″-57″ may ride with an adult in a double car.

Thunder Road Go Karts at Boomers, Livermore
As with Scandia, Boomers in Livermore is extra fun because of all the other entertainment options: go-karts, rock wall, bumper boats, mini golf, lazer tag, and an arcade.
Height Restrictions: Must be at least 58″ to drive solo. Guests 40″-57″ may ride with a licensed adult in a double car.
