Big Art Weekend is an immersive, creative experience for children with oodles of ways to enjoy indoor and outdoor space at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito, the sponsor of this post.
Visitors to Bay Area Discovery Museum during Big Art Weekend will explore hands-on activities created by early childhood experts from Splat Painting to a Rainbow Mud Kitchen. Educators will be on hand to guide visitors through their experience.
Will your little one be more drawn to painting everything in sight (encouraged!) or drawing tattoos on you (washable!). Live music and BADM’s year-round sand and water play areas make this special event a not-to-be missed sensory adventure.

Big Art Weekend is May 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Admission prices are the same as any other visit to the Bay Area Discovery Museum:
Members are free; babies 6-11 months – $15; children and adults age 1-64 – $20; adults 65+ – $18
Note: There is a Member-only hour from 9 – 10 a.m. on both days, and membership pays for itself in three visits.
