From Memorial Day 2026 through Labor Day Weekend, a water feature at Castro Valley Community Park turns into a splash pad on weekends. During the heat of the summer, they open Wednesday – Sundays beginning mid June through early September.
This sprayground is totally free and is perfect for hot summer days with energetic preschoolers. To turn on the water features, press the RED button, located near the Splash Park.

Splash Pad Operating Hours: 11:00 am-6:00 pm
- May 23 – June 7: Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays
- June 10 – August 2: Wednesdays – Sundays and Holidays
- August 8 – September 7: Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays
