They have developed age-appropriate, hands-on activities to bring science to life through fun, interactive experiments while families enjoy guided nature walks with expert-led explorations and real tools. Your little scientist, aged 3 to 8, will spot birds and lizards hiding in their natural habitats.
Join Chabot now through September for an unforgettable journey into the stunning parks surrounding the science center. With monthly themes ranging from the tiny world of insects to the towering grandeur of the towering redwoods, you and your children will experience the forest with new eyes.
Plan your visit to Family Nature Adventures at Chabot
Location: Chabot Space & Science Center, 10000 Skyline Blvd. Oakland
Dates: Once per month on select Saturdays, including May 9, June 20, July 11, August 8, and September 12, 2026.
Time: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for the guided programming, then you’ll have the rest of the day to enjoy the museum
Ticket Prices: $35 for Kids | $25 for Adults, includes regular admission to the Center ($19-24 value), all activities for Family Nature Adventures (noted), and snacks to fuel your adventure.
