If this sounds like a good fit for your family, there are available train rides on both Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17; buy tickets leaving from Roaring Camp in Felton or the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. The journey from the forest train is 75 minutes and the Beach train trip is 3 hours. Easter activities happen in town.

Called Eggstraordinary Easter Weekend Steam Train, tickets are $28-$30 for children, ages 2 to 12, and $40-$45 for adults. Free for children under two.
