Garden of d’Lights at Ruth Bancroft Garden is a sweet outdoor activity full of twinkly magic — and a wonderful way to spend an evening when it gets dark so early.
Ruth Bancroft Garden, a 3-acre facility in Walnut Creek, is lighting up its outdoor gardens with thousands of lights and lasers to create a beautiful nighttime stroll for guests. Succulents, cacti, and trees will become colorful sculptures. I think this event the ideal way to introduce children to the magic of a holiday light show without overstimulating them.
The event will run from November 24, 2023 to January 6, 2024 on most Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Check schedule for specific dates as it there are more dates in December than November.
Three admission times are:
- Admission Group 1: Enter from 5:30pm – 6:00pm
- Admission Group 2: Enter from 6:30pm – 7:00pm
- Admission Group 3: Enter from 7:30pm – 8pm
The organizers estimate that visitors will spend an hour to an hour and a half walking through the gardens.
