Here at the {510} Families headquarters, we need a little help. We want to expand the team to find more contributors to help document and share the best things to do in the East Bay with kids.
Already playing with your kids like it’s your job? Make it your job! The work is fun and flexible and can be done from your own home, during whatever hours you like.
What we’re looking for in a writer:
- Contribute two posts each month about places that are fabulous for families with young children, including three photos.
- Pitch us new ideas of places you love.
- Help us to fact-check and update our deep reservoir of existing content. Every year, places open and close!
Qualifications:
- Live in the (510) area code and have one or more children under 5
- Write clearly
- Have an eye for framing photos that tell a story
- Be genuinely interested in seeking out new experiences with your family
- Be adept with technology and (a little bit) experienced with web-based content management system or blog platform
- Possess enthusiasm for Facebook and Instagram as platforms to share content
- Consistently meet deadlines to which you commit
Compensation: $25/new article plus occasional perks such as tickets to local events or destinations. Expenses are reimbursed.
