The Latest In Stay-Home Entertainment: Create an I Spy Game In Your Front Yard

Since walking the block is pretty much the only place many of us are going these days, we are feeling compelled to entertain those who walk in front of our house. Heather discovered this idea because her adorable neighbor kids set one up and inspired us all.

How to Make A Front Yard Scavenger Hunt

  1. Gather up loose items from your home. Small animals, cake toppers, toys that have lost their sets are all good targets.
  2. Create a yard sign by combining the following: A) two sticks, packing tape, and a piece of cardboard for stability and B) a piece of paper on which you alert passersby that a game is afoot AND gives the reader a list of things to look for.
  3. Plant the treasures you’ve selected within sight of a person standing on your sidewalk so as not to encourage poking around your whole yard.

If you think you might make a habit of this, blank yard signs are available as a 10-pack on Amazon.
