Sponsored by the Inclusive Schools Group (ISG) Online School & Resource Fair.
Finding the right school or program for a neurodivergent learner can be challenging. The ISG School & Resource Fair brings Bay Area schools, specialized programs, and service providers together in one virtual event, allowing families to meet directly with programs and explore their options.

The event begins with a short welcome by guest speaker Irena Smith, followed by three breakout sessions. Each participating school or service provider has its own breakout room, allowing attendees to explore up to three different programs, hear directly from school and program leaders, and ask questions.
When: Friday, Nov. 6, noon to 1:30 pm
Who: Families seeking inclusive educational options, as well as service providers and programs supporting neurodivergent learners.
Where: This is a LIVE Zoom event customized to each guest. There will be no recording.
How Much: Free to attend, but please register in advance

Families can explore multiple inclusive schools, programs, and service providers in a single event rather than researching each option separately.
About Irena Smith
Irena Smith, PhD, is an award-winning author, former Stanford admissions officer, and longtime independent college counselor. For nearly two decades, she guided Palo Alto students through the college admissions process while raising three children of her own who faced developmental delays, learning differences, depression, and anxiety in a community with very narrow definitions of success.
Her memoir, The Golden Ticket: A Life in College Admissions Essays, won the 2024 IPPY Silver Award and the 2023 Sarton Award Gilda Prize, and her second memoir, Troika, was published in spring 2026. Irena holds a BA in English and a PhD in comparative literature, taught humanities and composition at UCLA and Stanford, and brings a candid, often funny perspective on what success really means for kids and families. Finding the right fit starts with knowing your options
Families don’t need to know exactly what kind of school or support they’re looking for before attending. The fair helps families discover inclusive schools, specialized programs, and resources throughout the Bay Area.
Participating Schools and Programs
Participating Schools and programs can be found on the Inclusive Schools Group website; it is an evolving list.
