We are so excited to announce a fun event for 510Families.com readers with pre-crawling babies (no walkers, please!). This pottery-painting outing is just in time for Father’s Day gifts.
Join us for a fun morning outing on Friday, May 29 from 11 am – 1 pm. We call it Baby’s Day Out because Brushstrokes Studio in Berkeley is one of the first places we took our own babies to do something.
Brushstrokes Studio, a beautiful, light-filled art studio, will be staffed with helpful experts who will help you create a footprint memento, such as a mug, a tile, or a picture frame.
We will also be joined by photographer Melissa Schmidt from Icarian Photography, who will offer 5-minute photo shoots with babies and parents, for those who want it, at a special price for {510} Families. (You’ll get a high-res file you can print to put in a frame — just in time for Father’s Day!)
Guests will have two hours to work on their projects and socialize with other new parents.
Not crafty? Don’t worry – you can just shmooze. Not social? Don’t worry – you can just paint pottery. Our team is happy to hold babies or help you with your stroller while you get settled with a drink or a snack.
Tickets are $20 for each baby and adult duo. Your baby ticket purchase includes:
- Free entry into Brushstrokes Studio (The fee is normally $18 for adults)
- A small tile on which to stamp your baby’s footprint or $7 credit toward any pottery you choose to paint
- Light refreshments
