Field trip to Peek-a-Boo Factory in San Francisco

My boys and I recently checked out the newly opened Peek-a-Boo Factory in San Francisco’s West Portal ‘hood. And I know that’s far, but sometimes a change of scenery is a nice way to shake things up a bit. Plus, if they play hard enough, maybe they’ll nap on the way home AND transfer. Ha. I kid.

It took us about 45 minutes (morning traffic) to get there, we found free parking a block away in a neighborhood, and in no time were walking into the fun-factory. My three-year-old found the train table straight away, and my 10-month-old climbed around in the special infant/toddler play area designated for three and unders. But the main attraction was the three-story completely padded jungle gym with loads of things to climb up, slide down, and run through. And me? I played too. The slides were super fast and really fun – I chased my boys up the stairs, and then we’d all slide down, and then we’d repeat again and again.

Bring a lunch, buy a snack at their snack-bar, or pick up coffee and a treat at La Boulange right next door to enjoy inside. There’s plenty of tables within eyes view of all the attractions, and free WiFi too. And, it’s SUPER clean.
