This beautiful event is back for 2023 and we’re so excited.
It doesn’t sound very cheerful, the idea of strolling through a cemetery, but East Bay families have been enjoying Piedmont Avenue’s Holiday Circle of Lights for twelve years. The year-round popular destination for stroller walks offers a festive light display that is easy to access for the entire month of December. In fact, you don’t even have to get out of the car if you don’t want to.

Piedmont Avenue ends at the entrance to the Mountain View Cemetery. There is a paved roundabout with a water feature in the center. Holiday lights and figurines are circling the area, and the building, which is the funeral home, is decked out as well. It is a lovely SHORT walk for toddlers and is completely accessible to strollers and wheelchairs.
