Guests of all backgrounds can expect an authentic, unapologetically Black experience rich with celebration. The Black Joy Parade is the largest free, family-friendly event of its kind in California that celebrates the Black experience and the Black community’s contribution to culture with over 20,000 people expected to join in.
The 2024 Black Joy Parade theme, “Redefinition of a Hustler” embraces the creative,
multi-talented, and resourceful ones who continue to drive Black culture and community forward.
Because “moms are the ultimate hustlers”, the Black Joy Parade is partnering with Black Infant Health to create a Lil’ Joy space near the main parade stage for young families with a nursing lounge, games, and storytime.
