All About the Egg Express Train
Sacramento’s River Fox Train kicks off its Easter Egg Express experience on weekends from April 1 through April 9.
The Easter Egg Express event is 2-hours including a one-hour train ride on open-air or indoor cars, plus a Spring festival on the lawn of the River Fox Train’s private river-side park.
Family-oriented activities include:
- Easter egg hunt (bring your own basket)
- games and surprises
There will also be an appearance by the Easter Bunny during the experience.

Ticket price: $59.95 for ages 3 and up | $10.95 for ages two and under
Dates and times: April 1, 2, 8 and 9 at various times including 10 am, 1 pm, 4 pm
Location: River Fox Train, 18095 County Road 117, West Sacramento
No outside food is allowed on board, you can purchase a snack on the train or at the Elkhorn Station Park. Parking is provided and free of charge. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure.
