One of the greatest shows on Earth, the Globetrotters are athlete-acrobat-entertainers, and their “Spread Game” World Tour is packed with tons of stunts and family fun. My family has made this show a year-over-year tradition for the children.
We went recently to the Oakland Arena and brought cousins, ages 5 and 8.

What to know about seeing the Harlem Globetrotters in the Bay Area
- The Globetrotters put on a fantastic show and sell all the merchandise to go along with it. Upgrades are available for player meet-and-greets. You know your child best. If they will feel overwhelmed or shy, don’t make this investment.
- Evening games. Make sure your child is well-rested and fed so that they can enjoy themselves. You will be out until 10 pm.
- These massive venues are expensive — parking is $40 even if you prepay when you purchase your tickets to the game.
