Professional women’s tackle football is coming to the Bay Area for the first time. The Golden State Storm will kick off their inaugural 2026 season this spring at Laney College. The Storm compete in the Women’s National Football Conference, a national league with 16 teams across the United States dedicated to expanding opportunities for women in football.

What families can expect:

Golden State Storm games offer an energetic and welcoming atmosphere for fans of all ages. Families can enjoy exciting live football, stadium concessions and food trucks, Storm merchandise, and plenty of opportunities for kids to experience the excitement of game day up close. For a break from the action, stop by the Kids Zone, which features face painting, the Ready Steady Pose 360 Photo Booth, and The Fun and Game Experts with interactive activities like an inflatable touchdown challenge, LED cornhole (after dark), a life-size electronic Connect 4, and additional carnival-style football and toss games

Ticket Information:

Where: Home games are played at Laney College in Oakland
Home Games: March 28, April 4, and May 4 | Kickoff 7:00 PM
Tickets: $25 advance | $30 at the gate. Kids under 2 are free.
Parking: Free
