Join the Elmhurst Branch for a series of workshops teaching carpentry to kids!
Volunteers from the Friends of the Oakland Tool Lending Library will teach participants how to safely use tools to create their own birdhouses, planters, and treasure boxes!
The first session will cover the history of tools, introduce participants to different tools, and cover how to use tools safely. The following weeks will feature a different carpentry craft of increasing difficulty that participants can take home with them.
