Join Bay Area Kinderstube—along with the larger German/Austrian/Swiss community in the Bay Area— to celebrate St. Martin’s Day with the big ‘Laternenfest.’ Welcome the season with St. Martin’s Day songs and a play, performed by our preschoolers, followed by a magical lantern-procession around the neighborhood – open for everyone to join. Bring your own lantern or buy one at the event. Enjoy German foods, baked goods, mulled wine, hot cocoa, coffee, a raffle, silent auction and much more in a festive atmosphere.
Schedule of Events
3:00 pm – Doors open
5:00 pm – Performances by Kinderstube & BAKS+ children
6:00 pm – Lantern Parade
6:30 pm – Kids Disco
7:00 pm – Doors close
PRICES AT THE DOOR:
Single entry (kids under 6 are free): $7 + credit card fees
Family package (2 adults + 3 kids under age of 12 + $50 food vouchers): $60 + credit card fees
