Lunar New Year 2026 Celebration is here!!
Join the Hayward Library for their annual Lunar New Year show, one of the library’s most cherished community traditions and largest cultural programs of the year. This special event brings together families and community members to welcome the Lunar New Year through music, dance, and shared cultural experiences.
This year’s celebration will feature a vibrant Korean traditional dance performance by Hansamo, and a Chinese traditional instrumental music performance by Tiffany Liu,
This is a FREE event! No registration is required.
Traditional RED ENVELOPES will be handed out to children at the end of the show. We encourage attendees to wear traditional or heritage attire to celebrate our community spirit.
The show will begin promptly at 11:30 AM and will last approximately one hour. Please arrive early to secure the best viewing spots for the show. Free parking is available in the garage shared with the Farmer’s Market, so allow yourself plenty of time for parking.
