Academy Day is The California Academy of Sciences’s annual birthday celebration!
On Academy Day, pay-what-you-can tickets are available, which allows all science-lovers to visit the museum for as little as $5 a ticket!

Transform into your favorite Academy animal with the help of face painters. - Photobooth | 10 a.m.–4 p.m. | Aquarium entrance
Snap a selfie to commemorate your epic Academy Day adventure. - Meet Buddy from Dinosaur Train | 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m. | East and West Gardens
The dinosaur, the myth, the legend—live! He’ll be roaming Dino Days throughout the day. - Lindsay Wildlife Animal Meet and Greet | 12 p.m.–3 p.m. | East Garden
