Kids Bowl Free & Cheap This Summer

The Kids Bowl Free program is nationwide, and several East Bay locations are participating. For the bowling alleys that are not participating, there are still discounts to discover.

Kids bowl free in the East Bay

Go to the website KidsBowlFree.com to register your child to bowl at the center nearest you. Every week, free bowling passes will arrive in your email.

Heads up: you will have to pay for shoe rental (about $4) and whatever video games and snacks your kids talk you into.

Throughout the summer, your child can usually bowl twice per day, every day, as long as they are under 15. There is no minimum age.

Lucky Strike, Alameda, or AMF Pinole

Lucky Strike has two offers: One is a Groupon that provides a deep discount on two hours of bowling for two people. While you’re on Groupon, you’ll see an even cheaper offer for AMF Pinole and a few other Bay Area locations.

The other is a Summer Season Pass to Lucky Strike. For about $65, passholders can get 2 games of bowling and shoe rental daily now through September 11. An upgrade includes arcade play and discounts on concessions. So, if you want to send your teen a few times per month, this is a good deal. If you just want to go for a family outing, consider the Groupon.
