Looking for a fun, hands-on activity for kids who love to build, create, and explore?
Family Maker Day is a free community event for kids ages 5–10 and their families, hosted by Redwood Heights Association.
Kids will have a chance to build, create, problem-solve, and explore design through interactive maker activities, including imaginative headgear and sturdy bridge-building projects. It’s a fun way for children to try something new while building creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning skills.
The event is led by Rochelle Jacobs, a former Oakland teacher, Maker Educator, and Redwood Heights resident who is passionate about giving kids opportunities to learn by making.
If you plan to attend, families are encouraged to register in advance so Redwood Heights Association can prepare materials and activities. A parent or guardian must stay with their child during the event.
Join them for a creative, family-friendly morning of making and learning.
