Maker Faire Bay Area is turning 20! This milestone edition returns to the Historic Mare Island Shipyard in Vallejo for a weekend (plus a special Friday) of hands-on invention, robotics, 3D printing, cosplay, drones, food hacking, and everything in between. Since its debut in the Bay Area back in 2006, Maker Faire has grown into the world’s largest celebration of creativity and DIY spirit. This year’s anniversary Faire promises to bring the whimsy and wonder of creativity and curiousity, with thousands of makers, exhibits, performers, and activities along the scenic Napa River.
