Curious about the academic energy of Aurora’s Middle School? Step into the classroom with the Academic Relay, a hands-on event designed for prospective families.
In this fast-paced experience, students and parents will rotate through three engaging 25-minute lessons:
- 🔍 Humanities: Analyze a primary source and uncover its historical and literary significance.
- ➗ Math: Tackle a real-world algebra challenge that sharpens logic and problem-solving skills.
- 🧪 STEM (Chemistry): Conduct an experiment to identify mystery substances using chemical reactions and pH indicators.
At Aurora, rigorous academics go hand-in-hand with social-emotional learning. Students build self-awareness, resilience, and collaboration skills—preparing them to thrive in high school and beyond.
Following the sessions, families are invited to enjoy pizza and conversation with teachers, students, and current families. This is more than an Open House—it’s an academic adventure!
