Celebrate the connection between plants and people at Ruth Bancroft Garden’s OAK-TOBER FEST on Sunday, October 26, from 10am-2pm! 🎃
• Visit the exhibit in the Garden highlighting plants in their collection that play important roles in people’s lives (as sources of food, drink, dye, medicine, and more).
• Kids can enjoy a pumpkin scavenger hunt in the Garden and create their own botanical-themed crafts.
• The Quenched Trailer will be selling drinks, including a special Prickly Pear Cooler!.
• Shop from unique vendors who mesh the botanical world with their arts and crafts.
• Starting at 11 am and every 30 minutes until 1:30 pm, we’ll be screening the documentary: The Garden of Secrets. In this exploration of nature, TEALEAVES explores how botanical gardens and the “secrets” they house can inspire lasting impact on people, society and the environment.
• Dress up in costume (kids, adults, and dogs) for the chance to win some awesome prizes!.
Events in the Plaza and Great Room are free to the public. If you wish to enter the Garden, admission is required.
