Not feeling the cooking vibes this Thanksgiving? We see you! We are you. We’ve put together a tasty list of Bay Area grocers, caterers, and restaurants that provide Thanksgiving dinners and desserts for easy-peasy pick-up. Just make sure to order early as many restaurants sell out! If not otherwise specified, meals are COOKED and just need a little warm-up.

Spotlight on Thanksgiving Turkey to Go by Claremont Resort & Club

Claremont has taken the hassle out of preparing your Thanksgiving Feast by doing the hard work for you! Each kit includes all “the fixings” and sides needed to make a spectacular meal; all you have to do is reheat, relax, and enjoy your time together. $195 per couple, or $375 per family. Your favorite grocery store has you taken care of for Thanksgiving. Order your holiday meal kit starting October 25, 2024, either traditional turkey and all the trimmings, or try the Southern Thanksgiving Dinner, including a 12lb Smoked Diestel Ranch Turkey (fully cooked), stuffing, mac n’ cheese, turkey gravy, cranberry relish, roasted butternut squash, roasted brussels sprouts, cornbread, and an 8″ Pecan Pie. French soul food for a fancy take on Thanksgiving.  Turkey Breast Dinner Kit (Serves 2 to 5) with all the fixin’s. Note that turkey and sides require cooking at home. Add on pumpkin bread pudding for dessert, plus extra sides at checkout! Add their hot spiced wine or cider to fill your kitchen with holiday aromas. Need a meat thermometer? They’ve got you covered. If you’re vegan or have some in your family, you probably already know about the amazing options at The Butcher’s Son in Berkeley. Order an entire vegan feast, or a la carte. Order by noon on Monday, November 25, for pick-up from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 28, inside East Bay Provisions at the Carriage Entrance of the hotel.

The Claremont menu looks spectacular this year. They’re offering a traditional roasted Tom turkey with all the trimmings, including sour cream chive Parker House rolls with sea salt butter; sweet gem and chicories salad with apple, sun-dried cranberry, candied pecan, and a tangy cider vinaigrette; buttermilk whipped Yukon gold potatoes; caramelized fennel and sage cornbread stuffing; mac and cheese with an herb panko crust; roasted rainbow baby carrots, parsnips, turnips and brussels sprouts with a pomegranate gastrique. And if you have room, a delectable pumpkin pie with a lovely maple bourbon chantilly.

Rockridge Market Hall (Oakland)

Market Hall Foods offers Thanksgiving main dishes and sides with a la carte pricing. The menu is available in-store Monday, Nov. 25-Wednesday, Nov. 27. A Black-owned business that lets you do part of it yourself. Chef, Lois Porter, makes a delicious pour-and-bake batter that is a hit at my family’s Thanksgiving every year. Look for it at Berkeley Bowl West in the frozen foods aisle.

Mariposa Baking (Temescal in Oakland)

100% Gluten-Free Bakery! Order your pies or the very best rolls and bread at Mariposa. They also have gluten-free bread cubes available for your stuffing!  Website >>

Masse’s famous pumpkin pie sells out quickly! But even if you can’t get one of the pumpkin pies, they have oodles of other delicious options, from vegan apple strudel to pomegranate raspberry cake.
