February Events for East Bay Families

👉 James and the Giant Peach

Children’s Theatre Association of San Francisco presents Roald Dahl’s beloved children’s book. Children can join James, the wizard Ladahlord, and 6 kooky human-sized insects on a kooky adventure. Runtime is 50 minutes. Recommended for preschoolers through about fourth grade.

Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! Musical

The P.L.A.Y. Theatre Company presents another Mo Willems children’s book come to life with a giggly and musical performance. Runtime is one hour with a ten-minute intermission. Suitable for ages 18 months to 8 years

The Thing About Jellyfish

Adapted from the bestselling book, The Thing About Jellyfish is an emotional coming-of-age story suggested for audiences 10 and up.

Annie Musical

Broadway SF presents the iconic musical, Annie, with the original score. Runtime is two hours 30 minutes with one intermission. Ages 5+ only.

NBA All-Star Weekend

Spread across San Francisco and Oakland, basketball fans will find three days’ worth of practice, games, and exhibitions. In Oakland, Friday afternoon is the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and Saturday morning is the All-Star practice game followed by the NBA HBCU Classic. Head to SF for the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday.

Disney on Ice: Magic in the Stars

Disney on Ice presents “Magic in the Stars”. Join Mickey, Minnie, and friends from Disney and Pixar stories on a magical journey. Runtime is approximately 90 minutes with a 20-minute intermission. Premium experiences are available for additional fees.

Teen Arts Night

High school students can see live performances, eat nachos, and try hands-on arts activities in ceramics, silkscreen printing, drawing, crochet, and button making for $7.50 tickets.

DLUX Puppets’ Peter Pan

Fly into Neverland with Wendy, Peter Pan, and Tinker Bell in this new original, multimedia adaptation. Enjoy stunning digital scenery, life-sized puppets, and live performers. Runtime is 60 minutes with no intermission.

Giants Fan Fest

Get ready for baseball season at Fan Fest. The SF Giants are welcoming fans inside Oracle Park with access to exclusive ballpark locations including the clubhouse, broadcast booth, and dugout. Tickets are free but advance reservations are required.

Monster Jam

Perfect for the truck-lover in your family. This action-packed show is filled with crazy stunts and racing. See popular trucks like Grave Digger®, El Toro Loco®, Sparkle Smash™ in action.
