June Events for Families

UniverSOUL Circus

A modern circus featuring diverse performers, this lively show includes dancing, unbelievable acrobatic feats (no animals), comedy, and interactive fun!

Into the Woods

This is a special opportunity to see Into the Woods — in the woods! This musical brings all your favorite fairy tale characters together to explore what they’re all searching for. Mountain Play productions take place on the top of Mount Tam. With limited parking next to the theater, guests can reserve a spot ($40) in advance, or park in Mill Valley and take a shuttle up to the outdoor amphitheater. Little ones can climb around on the rocks and have room to wiggle. The plot lends itself to leaving after the first act if that’s what feels right to your family.

The Wizard of Oz

Follow the yellow brick road and enjoy this classic musical as a family. See special pricing for audience members age 17 and younger.

Community Drumming

Dr. Suess Storytime & Craft

Explore the silly adventures of Cat in the Hat with a storytime and craft activity. Recommended for ages are 2-6, but all children are welcome. Caregivers / Parents must be present. Free, but tickets required. Registration begins May 24.

Jurassic World Live Tour

Dino lovers will enjoy this action-packed live show. See a Stegosaurus, T. rex, Triceratops, Pteranodon and other dinosaurs. The show is approximately one hour and 50 minutes long, including a 15 minute intermission.

Mermaid Splash & Play Party

Meet a mermaid who will lead arts & craft activities, apply glitter and face gems, temporary tattoos, and other mermaid-themed activities. The wading pool will be open for party registrants and 1 adult. Siblings can pay a separate entrance fee at the pool to enjoy the pool area. Wear your mermaid costumes/swim attire to enjoy a photo booth. Registration begins May 24.

Neon Scorpion Hikes

Register for a special nighttime hike with naturalists from Lindsay Wildlife Experience. Experience the excitement of finding scorpions glowing in the dark with the help of a UV light. Hike lasts approximately 2 miles. For ages 6 years or older
