The Oakland Zoo is setting up for its annual Boo at the Zoo event! This seasonal costume contest invites families to traipse around the Zoo in their costumes. Designed for kids of all ages, Boo at the Zoo takes place during regular Zoo hours and does not require separate admission fees.
Boo at the Zoo is one weekend only, October 24-26, 10 am – 4 pm. Reserve your tickets early as this is a popular event! Advanced reservations are required for non-members, no reservations are required for members.

What is Boo At The Zoo?
On the weekend before Halloween, Oakland Zoo visitors can enjoy a kid-friendly costume contest. My second grader was especially excited to show off their costume! There will be an in-person costume contest at noon in the Wildlife Theater with the chance to win zoo-related prizes. Don’t forget to grab a Boo at the Zoo trading card.
