Discover the surprising ways the color blue was made in places as far away as Egypt and closer to home, in South Carolina. The author of the NAACP Image Award-nominated picture book Blue: A History of the Color as Deep as the Sea and as Wide as the Sky, will lead kids in a fun dye-making exercise inspired by her book.
