Family Craft: Sugar Skulls

NOTE: This date/event is in the past. Keep browsing.

Come and make sugar skulls at your local Oakland Public Library branch! Sugar skulls are usually made out of cane sugar and used to decorate altars honoring ancestors during Día de los Muertos. They will be using Model Magic to create the skulls then we’ll decorate them with glitter and other supplies.

Appropriate for grade schoolers and younger children with adult assistance.

Other Oakland Branch Libraries are offering this workshop.
