Does My Child Have ADHD?
ADHD, or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, affects how children plan, concentrate, and finish tasks. It can make impulse control, focus, and organization tricky. If you’re worried about your child showing these signs, talk to a healthcare provider as the first step to understanding and getting the right support.
Clarity Pediatrics can support your family whether you think it might be ADHD or if you know it is ADHD. Get an assessment or develop a care plan >
What to Expect from Clarity Pediatrics
For families raising a neurodivergent child, finding specialty medical care is essential. The first appointment at Clarity Pediatrics is a virtual visit with a licensed child psychologist specializing in pediatric ADHD. They can evaluate your child for ADHD or discuss your family’s goals with a pre-existing ADHD diagnosis. This video visit is like a regular doctor’s appointment and insurance can be billed.
After your initial visit, you will receive a treatment plan tailored to your child’s needs. Most families follow up with Behavioral Parent Training (BPT). Clarity’s pediatricians can conduct a lifestyle medicine consultation to discuss how sleep, diet, movement, and mindfulness can support your family’s health goals, and provide prescriptions for ADHD stimulant medications. You can also explore other programs to target common ADHD challenges like emotional regulation and homework organization.

Behavioral Parent Training teaches science-backed parenting skills to increase positive behaviors, strengthen the parent-child relationship, and set families up for success through prompts and routines. Each BPT group meets for eight weeks on the same day/time and is attended by parents only.
All services are provided exclusively online by licensed pediatric clinicians experienced in ADHD treatment via HIPAA-secure telehealth technology (i.e., video visits). Parents have easy access to their care team through a secure messaging system between sessions.
“Clarity Pediatrics is filling a HUGE void! So many parents are unable to find therapy. I like that I can offer my parents a valuable service that is covered by insurance.” ~ Pediatrician, California
