Kid Report: Zebra Tattoo & Body Piercing, A good place to get your ears pierced

Our guest reporter today is Fiona G. who will be in sixth grade at King Middle School this fall when school starts again. She is almost eleven.

Zebra is a good place to go to get your ears pierced because they are really nice. I got my ears pierced there because my friends recommended it.

Also when they pierce your ears it barely hurts at all. They are very particular about cleaning your piercings after you get them pierced. And they sold me all the stuff I needed to clean my ears.

You get your ears pierced in a back room by yourself (your parents can come) and it is in a different room from the tattoos. You can hold your parent’s hand while they do the piercing. They use a needle to pierce your ears which is the more sterile way.

The earrings are pretty expensive: when they list the price they mean per earring. But they do have a good selection of studs you can use for starting. When I left they gave me a certificate. I think Zebra is a good place to get your ears pierced.

Zebra Tattoo & Piercing Parlour has locations in Berkeley and Walnut Creek. Fiona went to the Berkeley location on Telegraph Ave near Dwight Way. Other 2015 Summer Kid Reporters have written about the Marin County Fair and Geocaching in the East Bay.
