Cheer on an exciting sports experience in the Bay Area with the Oakland Spiders, a professional Ultimate Disc team playing in the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA). The Spiders are two time UFA champions and play in Oakland during the Spring and Summer.
The 2026 season begins April 26.
Combining elements of football, soccer, and basketball- the athleticism and skill of Ultimate Disc players allow for incredible throws and gravity-defying catches. Played seven versus seven on a football field, Ultimate involves moving the disc down the field through pivoting, throwing, and catching until a pass is completed in the endzone.
Spiders’ games are family-friendly, affordable, and fun. Gameday features include a great Kid Zone with games and crafts, food trucks, prize giveaways, and all the excitement of live professional sports. Even better – Kids 12 and under get in free!
During halftime, kids are encouraged to take the field to play with the Spiders! Kids line up and race down the field to catch throws from Spiders players, having fun while entertaining those in the stands! Halftime field access is part of the Spiders’ mission to entertain and inspire the community to come together through Ultimate while providing a great photo opportunity for families.
